INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN EDUCATION AND SCIENCE”25-26 October 2011

 

National Research University “Higher School of Economics” (HSE) held an International Conference “International Cooperation in Education and Science” on 25-26 October 2011 in Moscow. The event was supported by the EU 7-th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development INCO BILAT-RUS project and was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The workshop “Russia-EU Cooperation in Academic Mobility” held in the first day of the Conference on 25 October 2011.

The aim of the workshop was to discuss and analyse the present state of activities, problems and prospect of cooperation in the field of academic exchange, and make suggestions for potential joint EU-Russian agenda for enhancing scientific mobility.

The second day of the Conference was devoted to exchange of experience of Russian universities (National Research Universities and Federal Universities) on practical realisation of instruments existing in Russia to support international academic mobility (Mega-grants, etc.) through a Round Table Discussion “Academic Mobility in Russian Universities” on 26 October 2011.

69 representatives of the universities, research organizations, Ministry for Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the European Commission, Joint EU-Russia Researcher Mobility Working Group, funding institutions and industrial entities participated in the Conference.
