The network of National Contact Points (NCPs) was created in Russia under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 with the aim of promoting research and technology cooperation between Russia and the European Union. HSE NCP provides information and consulting support for Russian researchers and research teams who participate in Horizon 2020.

The second scientific conference for Russian and North Rhine-Westphalian universities, research institutions and other R&I actors will be conducted under the aegies of the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia on November 18, 2018 in Mulheim an der Ruhr, Germany. The conference will be hosted by ZENIT - the innovation agency of the state. The aim is to strengthen bi- and multilateral cooperation in research and innovation and to initiate joint projects.

National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" launches an educational program in the framework of international project «Prospective Technological, Methodical and Material Solutions for New Physical Effects Searches». The program is:
• inter-disciplinary, covering high energy physics / material science / IT;
• open to all interested persons;
• fully WWW-integrated (online video and distant access to study materials);
• international - implemented in partnership with CERN and some other world leading research centers.
Lectures are in English with simultaneous translation into Russian.
The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) launches Postdoctoral Programme in Bioengineering Excellence Scientific Training (BEST) 2018 call. The BEST programme aims to attract international experienced researchers in the areas of Nanomedicine, Cell Engineering and ICT for Health, the three research Flagships at the Institute.
