National Contact Points 'Mobility', 'Societies (INCO)', and 'Science with and for Society'

The network of National Contact Points (NCPs) was created in Russia under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 with the aim of promoting research and technology cooperation between Russia and the European Union. HSE NCP provides information and consulting support for Russian researchers and research teams who participate in Horizon 2020.

The Black Sea Horizon webinars on Horizon 2020 is a unique opportunity to hear about new calls and rules for 2018-2020. All interested participants are invited to join the upcoming webinars on the new Work Programmes of Horizon 2020. Experts and National Contact Points will provide first-hand information on new calls, rules and how to find partners for calls in the following areas of Horizon 2020:
12.12.2017: "Science with and for Society - open calls and possibilities for the Black Sea Region";
14.12.2017: "Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials - introduction to the new calls for 2018 and 2019".

Financial and legal aspects of participation in H2020 is the topic most frequently asked by stakeholders as training subject. One of the barriers during proposal preparation and effective project management is the lack of knowledge in reference to legal and administrative obligations of grant agreement and consortium agreement.

Coordinated call for multilateral projects 2017 is open under BRICS STI Framework Programme

Coordinated call for BRICS multilateral projects 2017 is open until 28th November 2017. Project consortia consisting of partners from at least three of the BRICS countries can apply. Thematic areas of the call include:
- Prevention and monitoring of natural disasters;
- Water resources and pollution treatment;
- New and renewable energy, and energy efficiency;
- Biotechnology and biomedicine including human health and neuroscience;
- Information technologies and high performance computing;
- Material science including nanotechnology.
